FF: Orri frá Þúfu
FM: Álfadís frá Selfossi, maybe the most successful breeding mare ever. She had 18 foals all of her trained ones made it to a first price score, except one who “only”  made 2nd price (so far).

M: Blika frá Nýjabæ (8.14) and honour mare.
MF: Keilir frá Miðsitju (8.63) and honour stallion.
MM: Stika frá Nýjabæ (7.6) and a Kjarval frá Sauðárkróki (honour stallion)  daughter.

How did you meet this horse? 
I first saw him when he was shown at Landsmót 2016. He was just ”wow horse”!

Can you describe the character of this horse?
We love his character. He is actually a very sweet dude that you can take on a chill ride but if you push him a little he shows this amazing, talented side of him. He is always controllable and very cooperative with the rider. Bjarmi is very well trained and fun to ride.

How long have you had Bjarmi?
Bjarmi is still owned by his breeder. who of course had him from his birth on.

What is the most memorable moment with him?  
Definitely Landsmót 2016, he was only five at that time and he already scored 9 on tölt and 8.47 on rideability!

How is Bjarmi as a riding horse?
Bjarmi is a highly judged first price stallion that also competed at the Icelandic championships (finals) and on Landsmót.  Bjarmi is assessed with 8.53 for ridden abilities and 8.46 in total. He got 9 for spirit and walk. All his gaits are evenly good. He has roomy movement, power and elegance in his gaits. We think he is just ”WOW”.

What is the highest score of the horse?
8,48 in FIZO breeding and he was shown in F1 with 6,83 as a preliminary score. Bjamri has also been competing in Gæðingakeppni A-flokkur and scored 8.48 there. So he is a top sports and breeding stallion!

What makes this horse so special?
Bjarmi is the perfect combination of gaits, a good character and he has great looks. He is 144cm tall so he could also be ridden by taller riders. And just stunning to look at…
What is Bjarmi best at?
He has really been outstanding in fivegait that is really his speciality on the competition track. And he makes a good breeding stallion, since he has really nice foals.
