I met Hildur in winter 2015 at the stud Auchtert. I was looking for a nice riding horse and she was the total match.
Can you describe the character of this horse?
Hildur is a very sensitive horse (in a positive way). She can do almost everything- from jumping and dressage to crosscountry to riding on an oval track. She is a hardworker and always does what you want from her. If you want, you can take her for a walk with your child, if you want, you can show her in a V2 or T3.
How long have you had Hildur?
I have had Hildur the last five years.
What is the most memorable moment together?
There are many- but the one I will always remember is winning the SP1 on the German Youth Championship. I will also never forget how five years ago I was riding her only with a halter- her being only five years old.
How is Hildur as a riding horse?
As I said before, Hildur is a working hard for her rider and always tries her best. She loves to jump or do dressage and you will always have fun riding her. Hildur can do both- she would love to be someone’s ”Waldweltmeister”, but with the same joy she would compete. I, personally, have ridden her very all-round, so she knows almost everything. But I would also imagine her as a breeding mare.
What is the highest score of the horse?
Hildur has achieved 6,5 in every gait.
What makes this horse so special?
She is all-round, very good ridden and has a lot of experience. You can do whatever you want with her. Riding completely free? No problem. Jumping over trees with me in a unicorn onesie? Ok. Walking next to a horse on a lead rope in a forest? We’ll do it. I can write a lot more paragraphs about this.
What is Hildur best at?
Her all-time-favourite must be jumping!
Why is it time for you to part?
It has private reasons, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the horse. I would totally keep her if I could.
Can you sketch the perfect owner for Hildur?
I think, every owner that would take good care of her would be perfect. Due to her exterior, she can’t carry tall and heavy people. She would make a perfect job as a trail horse but also as a great competition horse or as a horse for your kids to learn how to ride. Hildur is more likely a one-(wo)man-horse.
