His is located at Hof Grönholm, Lück 7 24969 Lindewitt, Germany  

How did you meet this horse?
We bred Efstur ourselves, he is the third generation of our breeding. His mother Snör and grandpa Ísak are both bred on this farm.

Can you describe the character of this horse?
It is a sensitive yet confident horse. He is a rather brave horse. You have to give him the idea that he came up with the ideas and not work against him.

How long have you had Efstur?
Since his birth in 2015 , because he was born here at our stable.

What is the most memorable moment together?
I could ride him in the roundpen without the help of others, although there was never someone on his back before. I am proud that I could work with him alone!

How is Efstur as a riding horse? 
He is not ridden yet, because he turned five this year.  We started his training a bit already and I rode him in walk in the roundpen two times. I could do that on my own and didn’t need someone to hold or lunge him. We have done ground work with him. He has a stable conformation and shows a lot of tölt already.

What is Efstur best at?
Keeping his head cool!

Why is it time for you to part?
Efstur is related to all our breeding mares, so we can’t keep him as a breeding stallion. And as a gelding we also need to say goodbye to him since we are a breeding farm.

Can you sketch the perfect owner for Efstur?
Efstur could fit many new owners, ones that want a nice competition horse or if they want a stallion with whom they can breed.
